GRAMMAR: Phrasal Verbs (verb & preposition)

Phrasal Verbs have a different meaning from the verb e.g.

To screw up = to make a major mistake (informal).
Blackberry really screwed up by not innovating.

To break into = to enter with force.
Apple broke into the mobile market in 2007.

To get rid of = to dispense / to cease using.
When Blackberry got rid of its non-touch screen it was too late.

FUNCTIONAL VOCABULARY – SWOT Analysis
